ok, im punk , so i pretty much wear band tee%26#039;s and skinny jeans. buttttt Skinny jeans arnt that %26quot; awesome %26quot; for summer. I need a site that has punk clothing . And i dont mean %26quot; JC Penny cuz they have shirts with skulls! %26quot; . I just want stores with plaid capris, knee length shorts, maybe some skirts. besides hot topic. and i have a little more than shoulder length hair, so hair styles wld b cool too! thx

Reply:well if you text a lot and want to use the internet a lot get the sidekick but if you want a phone with more features get the pearl. personally i have the new blackberrypearl that has the SD slot on the side (if you put a card in it you can store more memory for music, videos, pictures, etc.) rather than behind the battery because i heard that the sidekick is more useful for internet and the convenience of the keyboard is good for texting if you prefer to you two hands but with the pearl you can text with one.

You obviously have the Internet, why don%26#039;t you go on line and go to one of the search engines and type in belly tops/short skirts etc and it will bring up a list of shops that you can purchase your clothes from on line and get them delivered to your door. The first two are very similar and a little simple. I also think that the strappy nature is something I eprsonally wouldn%26#039;t wear (I%26#039;m short and straps can hinder the lengthening affect of shoes)

Also, I dont know how experienced you are wearing shoes but the fact that there%26#039;s no support around the ankle may make it difficult if ur not used to it.

The 3rd ones remind me of some I%26#039;m recently bought and LOVE so I might be a bit bias lol

how can you tell if a jacket is made out of horse leather? I purchased a jacket from the flea market. the seller told me that it was made out of horse hide. its has no tag on it indicating that it is. what are the qualities of horse leather so i can tell if it really is what it is claimed to be?

Okay, so I%26#039;m fat. I%26#039;m 4ft 11 and my pants size is a 17. I have a VERY hard time finding clothes!!

When I do find a pair of pants in a plus sized store that I like, They are usually too long! Even shorts. Shorts that are supposed to fit an average height usually go down to like 5 inches above my ankles, and it just looks silly!

I%26#039;m also very busty! Even before I gained my extra weight, my chest size was a DDD (still is).

All of my summer clothes currently consist of sweat-pant material capris (the kind that have ties at the bottom, so i usally have to tie them up so that they dont go down too low).. and t-shirts.

I%26#039;d like to go to the store and get 2 nice outfits for the summer. 2 shirts, 1 pair of nice capris, and maybe a skirt.

But I have NO CLUE about how to go about doing this. I%26#039;ve asked the sales people for help in a number of plus sized stores but they haven%26#039;t been much of a help.

PS. My fat is spread out evenly. I dont have a huge belly %26amp; small legs, etc...

You%26#039;ve got the right idea about dressing better NOW instead of waiting to reach your goal weight. It will make loads of difference in your happiness.

I%26#039;ve heard buying the clothes to fit the largest part of you is the best and then having the rest of it tailored to fit the smaller parts. So in your case, fit your bust and have the top taken in where it needs to be. Same with pants/shorts. hemming them because they%26#039;re too long is a very easy fix.

For hemming, if you%26#039;re totally inept with a needle and thread you can get this %26quot;hemming tape%26quot; that turns into a glue when ironed...it%26#039;s really easy to use.

Just make sure your pants fit you in the hips and crotch then hem the rest. Flare leg pants don%26#039;t really work because the flare starts too low, so look for a straight leg pant or wide leg...these hem better.

It%26#039;s a real frustration. I know some stores do offer complementary hemming, but it usually takes a while for your garment to arrive back from the tailor - so just do it yourself. Hemming isn%26#039;t really expensive and a tailor will fix up your pants in no time.

I%26#039;ve found that %26quot;petite%26quot; is code for short, Reitmans has a %26quot;petite plus%26quot; section here. But I don%26#039;t really know where you live...so I%26#039;m not sure if that helps.

Men's pants size to women's pants size...??

Okay. For starters, I%26#039;m not emo/scene/whatever funky words kids have made up these days. I just like to wear cool clothes. That said, I found some pants that I really like but are in the women%26#039;s section of Hot Topic.com. ^_^

I need some help figuring out what a size 32 or 33 is in women%26#039;s pants sizes. 33 is an average fit for me, and 32 is just a little tight around my legs; I%26#039;m fairly skinny but have disproprtionally large thighs (sigh)...

I did some research but couldn%26#039;t find any consistent answers. One source says that to convert women%26#039;s pants size to men%26#039;s, add 21. So if I do the reverse and subtract 21 from my current size (i.e. 33 - 21 = 12), does that mean I can fit a size 12 in women%26#039;s???

I would very much appreciate any help from any girls or guys who have had success with this kind of stuff.

That sounds right on target this is what I found out

Add 21 to the ladies size you normally wear and that is the waist size of the men%26#039;s jean or pant that will come closest to fitting you. There is some room for error either way here so take your build into consideration. If you have fuller hips and rear you may need a size slightly bigger and if your hips are slim or your rear end is flat then you may need a little smaller. Be honest and you%26#039;ll save an exchange. Men%26#039;s jeans are not cut as full in the hips as women%26#039;s so keep this in mind. That is why sometimes this conversion comes out bigger than your waist is. Remember though you have to fit the biggest part whether it%26#039;s the waist, the hips, or the rear.

Example; You wear a ladies size 12 jean you would try a men%26#039;s size 33%26quot; waist. 12+21=33

I don%26#039;t really like the idea of wearing a %26#039;traditional%26#039; long and puffy type prom dress so I was thinking I wear a more %26#039;modern%26#039; dress that is still nice and dressy but not a little different from traditional. Where can I go about finding one? I was thinking maybe knee-length and wear fab platform type shoes which follow the trend. Does anyone know any places in London where I can go? Also try www.asos.com they have some BEAUTIFUL stuff and a lot of it is very reasnoably priced (there is designer stuff too but over ur budget probs)

They have a nice selection of platform shoes too. The only place I%26#039;d go to buy a pair- besides maybe New Look.

I don%26#039;t really know what shops there are in London... There%26#039;s probs a Primark tho! I think I heard theres a good one in Coventry? If there is a Primark thats probs worth checking out anyway, they often have things that are fashionable but cheap =)

The dress is okay. I%26#039;d have to see it on to make a verdict. Honestly, I%26#039;d go with something maybe solid, not so printed, that maybe came in at the waist, then had a slightly full skirt? So, I am fairly small but I had surgery 5 years ago and every since I have been precautious about %26quot;working out%26quot;. I have a small stomach and when I went prom dress shopping and then graduation dress shopping it was a nightmare. Everything I found was to small in the stomach area and to big in the top (I am also small chested). I am getting ready to go bathing suit shopping and I would die to be able to wear a bikini. Any ideas on how I can loose my belly for good?? Please help me!

ok at work (in a bridal/bridsmaid/prom dress shop) we dont really have a dress code. its very casual. the only guidance is NO JEANS. anything goes after that.

theres on girl there the same age as me, and she often wears a white denim skirt.

would you say that a blue denim skirt would be acceptable as well?

im used to such a strict dress code, so this is a bit difficult to go from that to basically no dress code.
