Denim skirts for work?

ok at work (in a bridal/bridsmaid/prom dress shop) we dont really have a dress code. its very casual. the only guidance is NO JEANS. anything goes after that.

theres on girl there the same age as me, and she often wears a white denim skirt.

would you say that a blue denim skirt would be acceptable as well?

im used to such a strict dress code, so this is a bit difficult to go from that to basically no dress code.

serious answers only!
Denim skirts for work?
id say it is okay but maybe you should ask?
Denim skirts for work?
eurgh i dont think blue denim skirts look very nice 2 me they look cheap and trashy
Reply:Why don%26#039;t you ask your boss what is acceptable.x
Reply:No, a blue denim skirt says casual to me, not workplace. At a shop like yours, you do need to look neat and professional, even if you don%26#039;t have to look dressy. White denim is a step up from blue.

You want to be respected, and if the code is no jeans, don%26#039;t wear a skirt that looks at all like jeans.
Reply:if the dress code is anything will do except for jeans then do not wear jeans. probably they do not notice the other girl%26#039;s skirt coz its white.

ow and i love jeans ! they are not cheap and trashy !!
Reply:I say no to both skirts, the blue and the white denim. I%26#039;m surprised the casual dress code for a bridal shop is acceptable at all.
Reply:id say it should be just above the knee for it to look proffesional, since denim is VERY casua;
Reply:if you wear a blue denim skirt it looks to casual. a whit denim skirt looks better. i think for work you have to look neat and tidy and not to casual.
